Our Story

As curly hair’s spring-factor can be misinterpreted while wet, the hair is cut dry in its natural form, curl by curl, allowing the stylist to sculpt hair according to the individual’s texture. Accompanying the cut is an extensive line of sulfate-free, completely botanical hair care products for cleansing, conditioning, moisturizing, and styling to show off curls at their springiest—or beach-iest—best.

The concept made complete sense to Beth. Passionate about what she learned, Beth began traveling to New York City to take specialized Devachan classes. She emerged from the program with certification as a Deva educator and curl architect. She brought her newly gleaned wisdom down to DC, and over a dozen years later, Fiddleheads reigns as one of the city’s best salons for curly hair.
